HOW TO CALCULATE YOUR ENTRY SCORE

Since the implementation of the new procedures for admission into tertiary institution was amended by the Joint Admission Matriculation Board, it has seized to be a tradition for students to kick off another phase of studying for PostUTME.
While some see it as a welcome development others see it as an unjust or irrational way of checkmating proper and eligible entry into higher institution. Reasons not far-fetched owing to the fact that the criteria for admission is now the SSCE results combined with JAMB results.

That said, here are the important things you need to note as UTME Examinations are over;
1.       Criteria for admission is Jamb Score and SSCE Computation score
2.       The following are the procedures for
SSCE computation;

We might not be able to give examples for calculating your own aggregate because various schools have differet method of calculating their aggregate. UNN for example calculate in terms of 400% (so u get aggregates like 320, 245, 301, …) while UNILAG calculate in terms of 100% (so u get aggregates like , 77, 85, 54, ….)

Just bear it in mind that in general, your UTME Score carries 60%

While your SSCE score carries 40%
