After UTME (JAMB) what next?
This question I will say is not on the lips of jambites
but it is in their mind. As the UTME 2016 Examination rounds off there is need
to have a plan for the next step to wen it eventually comes to an end.
Usually students think Post-Utme is the next thing after
jamb disregarding the fact that it is not really wats next even though actually
it is.
Now that you have taken your UTME exam and you have seen
your score, what comes next is preparing yourself for the P.utme but wait, this
preparation is not the studies now but the presentation to your school of
choice.
Take these cases.
CASE 1: A student score 220 in UTME and going for Medicine
and Surgery UNN,
CASE 2: A student with 230 going for Law in UNIBEN.
CASE 3: A student with 198 going for Education In UNILAG.
Seriously? Yes, some will tell you they believe in
Miracles but hey Heaven help those who help themselves.
There is need to take action before deciding to take the
POST UTME examination in any institution. The fact that you score cannot
take you into that your institution for that your course doesn’t mean you can’t
get that course in another institution, with the same score.
There is need to weigh the odds, if you flop I’m sorry
you will have to start afresh don’t make the mistake of throwing away that your
beautiful score due to ignorance especially for first timers.
